Week #2, Project 52 – Lonely tulip…
This week’s photo is of a lonely tulip. Well, it’s not really lonely, but there is certainly no garden of tulip peers nearby. There is no garden of anything nearby. We still have two months before the snow goes away much less before anything green actually starts to grow. I get jealous when I see photos of greenery from across the country knowing that I will be still be adjusting my exposure compensation for a white background for yet some time.
But I saw this concept in a macro forum somewhere and thought I’d give it a try. It’s not a macro shot, but for a $5 bundle of grocery store tulips, $6 worth of led flashlights and some black cardboard, I temporarily satiated my desire to relocate south. Net savings probably somewhere around $50k.
Taken with a Canon 5D3, 135mm, 30 sec, f/8.0, iso 320, Lightroom.
