Week #17, Project 52 – "Sandhill Crane at Creamers Field..."
I'm not a birder, but I do enjoy watching the swans, geese, and cranes at Creamers Field. Dropped by this evening to see who might be stirred up. Pretty quite at the time. Lots of geese but only a few young cranes around and they do a good job of blending in and staying inconspicuous in spite of their size. That’s probably how young cranes become old cranes. Shot with Canon 7D, 100-400mm, 1/1000 sec @f/5.6, iso 400.
